 Today’s card was inspired by the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I combined it with a challenge from a local demonstrator card swap in which we were asked to showcase products from the new 2012-2013 catalog. I love the simple, clean layout of the card!

Christmas Card

I made my first card one year ago this month. While I have a history of scrapbooking (yes, I will admit it!), I was unfamiliar with Stampin’ Up! until a friend shared her cards with me. I was hooked immediately and began casing other, more experienced card designers for my ideas. I wanted to do something a bit more original, so a fellow demonstrator suggested joining Freshly Made Sketches. Here is the current challenge…..

I’ve wanted to use the Bright Hopes stamp set and the beautiful pewter embossing powder for sometime and am happy with the results.
